The continuing internal assessment examinations may be held frequently at least 3 times in a given academic year and the average marks of these examinations should be considered in the final examination and final examination may be held at the end of the academic year.

Final examination of theory paper is having 2 sections
1) Section 40 marks
2) Section B 40 marks
In each section there will be 6 questions of 5 marks each and 4 questions should be attempted and 4 long answer type question having 10 marks each, out of which 2 questions will be attempted.
In the third year final examination, there will be one written examination of research methodology of 100 marks and one dissertation of 100 marks, field tour and journal seminars of 50 marks each.
The scheme of examination for Medical M.Sc shall be divided into 1st year examination at the end of the first academic year, 2nd MSC examination at the end of the second academic year, 3rd M.Sc examination at the end of the third academic year.
The examination shall be open to a candidate who satisfies the requirements of attendance, progress and other rules laid down by the University.
75% attendance is required for appearing in final examination.
Any student, who does not clear the first year University examination in all subjects within 3 years from the date of admission, shall be discharged from the course.
Any candidate who has not successfully completed the 1st year examination can appear in supplementary examination (ATKT) and after clearing the supplementary examination student will appear in second year examination.
240 days minimum teaching in each academic year is mandatory
